According to 9to5google, Google is going to allow gambling apps on the play store in 15 countries including the US from the next policy change may be on March 1, 2021. 


 

According to 9to5google, Google is going to change Google’s Play Store policies that will allow gambling and betting Android apps that use real money in 15 more countries, including the US.

Currently, gambling apps are only allowed on the play store in four countries: Brazil, France, Ireland, and the UK.

The policy change can take place on March 1, 2021. the new policy changes in Google Play Store will allow authorized and legal gambling apps like online casino games, lotteries, sports betting, and daily fantasy sports that will depend on whether these gambling apps are allowed in the approved countries.

The new countries where Google allowing gambling apps on the play store are Australia, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden, and the United States.

But each country will have its own limitations on what kind of online gambling is legal, with some countries allowing online casinos, sports betting, lotteries, and daily fantasy sports, and some being more restrictive according to their government’s rules and regulations.

Currently, Google requires developers to go through an application process to get their gambling apps on the Play Store, and the new policies won’t be removing that requirement.

Google officially didn’t announce this news though.
